Last Updated: November 06, 2025

Proseido Private Limited, trading as SEIDO ("SEIDO", "we", "us" or "our"), provides a business intelligence and B2B data platform and related engagement and marketing tools (the "Services") that help businesses ("Customers", "Users" or "you") discover business contact information, gain insights, and more effectively engage prospects and other professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how SEIDO collects, stores, uses, discloses, infers, acquires and otherwise processes personal information in connection with providing, developing and improving our Services, our Website (www.seido.me), and our marketing activities.

If your personal information is included in SEIDO's contributor or enriched databases, this Policy describes who we are, how you can request access or removal, and potential outcomes of remaining in our database. The fastest way to submit access, deletion, or other rights requests is via our Privacy Center at: https://www.seido.me/privacy. If you cannot use our self-serve tools, contact us at privacy@seido.me.

By using the Services, visiting the Website, or participating in SEIDO marketing activities, you acknowledge that SEIDO collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes information as described below and in our Terms of Service. Certain jurisdictions (e.g., California, EU/UK/Switzerland) provide additional rights, see the relevant sections below.

1. Scope and Overview

This Policy applies to personal information SEIDO collects about individuals:

  • from Customers and their Users when they use the Services;
  • from visitors to our Website;
  • through our marketing and sales activities; and
  • from third-party and public sources that feed our contributory and enriched databases.

It explains the types of personal data we collect, the purposes for processing it, how we share it, rights available to individuals, and how to contact us.

2. Information We Use to Provide the Service (Service Information)

2.1 Information submitted by Customers and Users

Customers and authorized Users may provide information to SEIDO through the Service, which may include:

  • name, work email address, telephone number, mobile number, job title, employer, professional location and related professional contact data;
  • customer and contact lists provided by Customers (e.g., name, email, phone, title, employer, location); and
  • other information Customers submit through the Service (for example, website visitor IP addresses when provided by Customer activity).

When Customers or Users submit data to SEIDO, they acknowledge SEIDO may use that information to grow, enrich, verify and enhance our contributory database and the data made available to other SEIDO Customers as part of the Services.

2.2 Payment and account information

If SEIDO provides payment options, we may collect billing/payment details and identity verification information required to process purchases and validate payment methods. Payment data is used to fulfil purchases and for related billing and fraud-prevention purposes.

2.3 Additional account information

We may request and store additional information necessary to create, support, and maintain Customer and User accounts and access to the Services.

3. Information Collected Automatically (Usage Information)

We and third parties may automatically collect usage and device information when you visit our Website, open emails we or our Customers send via the Service, or use the Service. Technologies we use include cookies, web server logs, web beacons/pixels, JavaScript, and local storage.

Collected Usage Information may include:

  • device type, operating system, browser, IP address and device identifiers;
  • pages visited, interactions with website content, referrer URLs, language, and time zone;
  • email engagement metrics and other diagnostic or performance data; and
  • mobile-specific identifiers and, where device/browser settings permit, geolocation.

Cookies and local storage may be essential to some features; disabling them may limit functionality. You can manage non-essential cookies via our cookie banner or browser settings, or by contacting privacy@seido.me.

4. Information from Third-Party and Public Sources

We may obtain contact and professional information from third-party data providers, integration partners, public APIs, company websites, directories, government filings, event lists, and other public sources. We require data providers to certify lawful collection and, where applicable, that necessary notices and consents have been obtained.

5. Information Collected from Marketing and Sales Activities (Marketing Information)

When you voluntarily engage with SEIDO marketing or sales (e.g., request a demo, contact sales, register for an event, download content, subscribe to emails, or attend events), we may collect:

first and last name, company name, job title, work email, country/state, phone number, work address, and message content.

When you attend or are recorded at events or calls, we may record or photograph the event and use recordings for business, marketing and training.

6. How We Use Information

We use Service, Usage and Marketing Information for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • providing, operating, maintaining and improving our Services and Website;
  • verifying and establishing accounts;
  • troubleshooting, performance monitoring, analytics and security;
  • generating derived personal information, inferences, profiles or predictions to enable features like prioritization, scoring and insights;
  • creating new internal or customer-facing products and tools;
  • communicating with Customers and Users about the Service and responding to requests; and
  • marketing our services to businesses that may be interested in them.

We may also use data to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents, to enforce our Terms of Service, and to comply with legal obligations.

6.1 AI and Machine Learning

SEIDO may use AI and machine learning to power features such as personalization, insight generation, lead scoring and workflow automation. These systems may use Service Information and business contact data as inputs to internal models or authorized third-party AI providers. To the extent applicable law provides the right to object to profiling or automated decision-making, you may exercise that right as described in this Policy and via our Privacy Center.

7. Advertising, Analytics and Tracking

We and third-party advertising and analytics partners may use Usage Information and cookies to deliver and measure advertising, including retargeting and tailored advertising. These partners may track your activities across websites and devices. You can opt out of many forms of interest-based advertising through industry opt-out tools and browser controls; opt-outs typically apply only to the browser or device where they are set.

8. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

SEIDO may share Service, Usage and Marketing Information under the following circumstances:

  • Service providers and vendors: with companies that perform services on our behalf (hosting, cloud infrastructure, customer support, analytics, advertising and data enrichment, payment processors and billing providers).
  • Customers and the contributory database: with SEIDO Customers as part of the Services when data is included in the contributory or enriched database.
  • Business and data partners: for collaborative services or co-developed solutions (subject to contractual protections).
  • Aggregated or de-identified data: without restriction.
  • Legal and safety purposes: when required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect rights, property or safety (including disclosures to law enforcement or courts when necessary).
  • Corporate transactions: in connection with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, sales of assets, financing or due diligence in anticipation of such events (with appropriate safeguards).
  • Other: where we have consent or are otherwise permitted by law.

We require third parties processing data on our behalf to provide appropriate confidentiality and security, and to process data only as instructed by SEIDO.

9. Your Choices and How to Remove Your Information

9.1 Account and settings

Customers have self-serve options to update account information and set service preferences via the platform (Settings → You).

9.2 Contributor database suppression and data subject requests

If you do not want your information included in SEIDO's Services or contributor database, submit a suppression or deletion request via the Privacy Center at https://www.seido.me/privacy or contact privacy@seido.me. Suppression prevents SEIDO from making your data available in active datasets, but may not remove copies already held by third parties or Customers. You may also request a report of the personal data SEIDO holds about you.

We will verify requestors' identities before fulfilling sensitive requests as required by applicable law.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No system is completely secure; users should assist by using unique, strong passwords, keeping credentials confidential, accessing Services only from secure and updated devices, and promptly notifying privacy@seido.me of suspected unauthorized activity.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Website and Services may link to or embed third-party websites, apps or services and may include third-party content, cookies or features. Those third parties may collect data about you and are responsible for their own privacy practices. SEIDO is not responsible for third-party privacy practices; review third-party policies before sharing personal information.

12. Children

The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. SEIDO does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If you believe we have collected a child's information, contact privacy@seido.me and we will promptly investigate and remove it where required by law.

13. European Territory Residents - Legal Bases and Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom ("European Territories"), the legal basis for processing your personal data will depend on context and the category of data. We commonly rely on:

  • Consent (where given);
  • Legitimate interests (for processing business contact data and platform operations), following a balancing test; and
  • Contractual necessity or legal obligation, where applicable.

European Territory residents have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing, to object to processing (including profiling), to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If SEIDO acts as a processor on behalf of a Customer (e.g., when Customers use the platform to contact prospects), data subject requests should generally be directed to the Customer first; we will assist Customers as required to respond to valid requests.

To exercise rights, submit a request via the Privacy Center or contact privacy@seido.me. We will verify identity as required before responding.

14. Data Retention

SEIDO retains personal data for as long as necessary to provide Services and for legitimate business purposes (including deriving, correcting, or validating data), or as required by law. We delete or anonymize personal data when no longer necessary, or upon a valid deletion request unless we have a legally justifiable reason to retain it (e.g., to resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations). We may maintain limited suppression records to prevent re-inclusion of removed individuals.

15. International Transfers

SEIDO operates and hosts systems in multiple jurisdictions. If you access Services from outside the jurisdiction where SEIDO is established, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws. By using the Services you consent to such transfers in accordance with this Policy. Where required, SEIDO uses appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, binding corporate rules, or other legal tools) and will indicate relevant mechanisms in the Privacy Center where applicable.

16. Compliance with International Frameworks and Dispute Resolution

Where SEIDO participates in recognized international data transfer frameworks or certifies to particular programs, we will publish details and contact points on our website and Privacy Center. If disputes arise under applicable frameworks that provide alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, SEIDO will cooperate with relevant panels or authorities and publish applicable dispute resolution routes and arbitration options where required.

17. Google and Third-Party Integrations

If you connect third-party accounts (e.g., Google) to SEIDO, we will access only the minimum scopes and data required to provide the integration. For Google integrations, this may include Google Sheets content and metadata you choose to import, your Google account email for authentication, and file access permissions needed for the feature. Data accessed via such integrations is used solely to provide the requested feature and is not used for unrelated purposes such as training AI models, adding to our contributory database, targeted advertising, or sharing with third parties for their own use.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements or service features. We will post the updated Policy on our website with the effective date. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you disagree with changes, stop using the Services and contact us to request deletion where applicable.
